Parents’ Consultations Times

I have allocated all parents a time to talk about how their child is progressing and how we can help to support them. They will be taking home a confirmation slip tomorrow, Thursday 24th October.

If there are any problems, please let me know.

Big Write Talk Homework

Last week we read The Magic Finger by Roald Dahl. For Big Write this week, the children will write their own version. What is the magic finger? Who do they put it on? Why? What then happens?

We are working hard to make sure that the children use full stops and capital letters accurately, so please make sure that your child talks in full sentences for the homework. It makes such a difference. Thanks.

Killer Shark

Luke and George was at the lovely beach they could smell the barbecues. They saw dogs swimming in the gleaming sea. Luke and George saw something in the sea so they decided to swim to it. When they got closer, they got scared…When Luke and George got there they realised it was a shark. The terrifying shark opened its wide mouth and bit down with its needle like teeth on there trowser leg and took them to the bottom of the ocean. It started calling its friends but they quickly swam away. They were terrified!!!!!!!!! But Luke had a cut from one of the sharks teeth. They decided to call the shark Sid. The terrifying shark came back so they found a net in the water. Luke and Gorge threw it at the shark. Finely they got to the serifs. They swam to the shaw. “Phew” they said. They ran home. There mummy rapt them up in towels and said “where have you both been. “It was a long story mum, they said.
